About Queen's


Queen's Café and Cake was first established in Hong Kong in 1952. Its founder Mischa Yu learned his culinary skills from White Russian master chef Kurilov in the 1920s, and was one of old Shanghai's best chefs of Russian cuisine. Mischa later moved to Hong Kong and started his own Russian restaurant and bakery which he named Queen’s, when it opened the same year Queen Elizabeth II was proclaimed.
